If you want to be successful in dieting, you should follow this is a little guide to avoiding that shouldn’t make you lose weight.

1. Don’t rush into the toughest diet you can find.
This is a usual fault. Many people decide in a moment of desperation to follow a super – strict diet and fail. Don’t be hurry to follow dieting that has strict program. If you don’t have any experience of dieting, you could choose the other way.

2. Don’t lose touch with reality.
Be a realistic, there is no something happen quickly. Whether you has dieting for along time but still not successful. Don’t make a direct comparison when you hear someone saying that he lost of pound in a short time because the diet result are different from one person to another.

3. Don’t go to the gym too often.
Many people in the first time of dieting have enthusiasm to go to the gym every day. This is won’t help you at all. Your body needs time to heal and develop the muscle after exercising and going to gym every day annoy this natural process. Beside, a week of non-stop exercising could never offset 10 or 20 years of couch potato life stile.

4. Don’t get hard on calories.
As we all know cutting off calories is the key of all diet program, but you must be careful about it. Cut off too many calories and your body will start storing anything it possible can. This is not good way to lose weight.

5. Don’t skip meals.
Don’t thing that skipping one or two meals can help you lose weight faster, that is absolutely wrong. The right way of dieting is all about eating the right food and not starving yourself.

6. Don’t check the bathroom scales everyday.
Everybody eager to see the result of his or her efforts to lose weight, but you couldn’t to check your weight every day because it can make you depressed and ready to stop dieting. And this is something you want to avoid.

7. Don’t let emotions drive you.
Aside eagerness that drives to check their weight every day, there are other emotions that influence dieting. If you know you are used to reaching out for ice-cream or snacks when you are bored, frustrated or angry, then you should deal with these issues and not allow them to come between you an your purpose. Sometime when you are bored, frustrated or angry may be you allow to reaching for ice-cream or snacks

8. Don’t refuse to seek help.
As a human we need help from the other man. It will be better if you get advises or help from your friends or from professional than trying to solve all problems by yourself.

9. Don’t deny yourself your favorite foods.
Treat are a great way of raising your willpower and determination. Diets are just food control methods, not prisons. So what if you eat something forbidden once in a while, especially if that food is a favorite of yours? If such treats are not frequent, then they will make no difference in the long run.

10. Don’t rely on your willpower alone.
Use your head as well. If you wish how much you eat, then write everything down and analyze the list for thing that could not be there. Sometimes hunger creeps up on you and make you eat something you couldn’t. be honest with yourself and keep a clear head.

    Yes, you are right!

    It is a life style and not a ‘one-week’ or ‘one-month’ activity’ that we do rigorously and after that we go back to our old habits of binging, couch-potatoing (?), and no-exercising.

    It’s about a life style we are talking about.
