The Slim Fast Shakes

These days many diets program to get more fit and slim are offered such as eating large quantities of vegetable, eating a single food for a whole day, and many other way including Slim Fast shakes. But be careful when chosen the appropriate diets program, because dreaming to get fit and slim will be lost caused of the mistake program.
The main idea is to replace the habitual meal with slim fast shakes, accompanied by two pieces of fruit and a nutrition bar, and having a sensible dinner at the end of the day. It means that you may have to eat whatever you want during dinner, as long as you keep the portions average. At least this is the theory. In practice you will immediately find out that dinner is the only time you can get some actual nutritious food, which options are limited to those that can keep you on your feet and thinking clearly, aside from the vitamins and minerals-laden shake.
Besides the shakes, drinking 6 – 8 glasses of water per day is a must in order to help the weight loss process along. Dieters had better also exercise during this plan, but I’m not so sure that a 1,200 calories a day intake can support a program of exercises. On the other side, the extra exercises mean faster weight loss.
But this program doesn’t offer personal structure neither technical support, so dieters have problem because they are in their own. What they have is only a box of shakes and their own common sense. This is positive for some because it helps build self-reliance and teach people to gain control of their own eating process not only for the diet, but for the rest of their lives. But, some just can’t do it without outside support and this may be the main problem of this diet.

There are many kind of product we can find on the market including the bad one that are actually launched on there. One such product is the coconut oil that coming with coconut diet ideas. The coconut diets is just another diets program that add some kind of miracle ingredient to a strict eating program and hope that everything turns out fast. The magic ingredient is called as ‘coconut oil’ and its metabolism boosting capacity. They mentioned that coconut oil can be rapidly burnt by the body, although the fact said the opposite.
This diet is in fact a regular law-carb diet. While at the first step of the diet, users are not permitted to eat any kind of carbohydrates and have to do with lean foods, such as eggs, nuts, cheese, fish, chicken, turkey and up to 10 glasses of water per day. They also have to swallow 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil per day. The first stage lasts for 3 weeks, only to be followed by an optional detox stage. The second stage lasts for 4 weeks and focuses on cleansing the liver, kidneys, gallbladder and colon through certain interesting means (such as drinking water mixed with lemon juice and olive oil).
The third stage is the reintroduction of carbohydrates in the daily eating plan. In this stage the dieter more allowed to eat carbs. It is assumed that the dieter has lost more than 10 pounds by this point and still maintaining a weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week. At the last stage, dieters are allowed to add more carbohydrates on their eating plan, but they still drinking coconut oil.
Unfortunately, there are no explanation clearly about this diet. the dieters who follow this program provides no sound explanation for the exact influence of coconut oil on weight loss. While it’s correct that coconut oil able to regulate the thyroid gland, it has far too much saturated fat to be healthy. Furthermore, it’s not really clear if the coconut oil has serious effect in this diet, since the weight loss can easily be ascribed to the strict “no carbohydrates” eating plan. Most dieting experts and dietitians agree that access to saturated fats must be limited while diets, so it’s very strange to see dieters that claims the opposite.
“Good” Cholesterol Vs “Bad” Cholesterol

Do you ever try to scan every product available in your local grocery? You will find that majority of that product is labeled as …-free, i don’t mean it is ‘free of charge’ but it’s mentioned as is bromate-free, fat-free, cholesterol-free, preservative-free, etc. You see?
This is not absolutely bad, but we have to be more concern about the foods we consume and the nutrients that we get from them, and that was recommended by health experts. Please note, not everything that is –free is good for our health. Our body need certain substances to run well. Let us take a look at cholesterol for example. Really simply defined, cholesterol is a fatty substance that occurs naturally in the blood, cell walls and most body tissues. Cholesterol is made by the liver, and it enters the body via foods rich in saturated fat.
There are two kind of cholesterol: the good and bad cholesterol. Why they mentioned as the good cholesterol because it is needed for certain important body functions, but cholesterol also has an bad side. If the bad cholesterol present in excessive amounts in our body, it can injure blood vessels, then cause heart attacks and stroke.
Low density lipoprotein (LDL) is the “evil” cholesterol. This is the form in which cholesterol is carried into the blood and is the main cause of dangerous fatty buildup in arteries. The higher the LDL cholesterol levels in the blood, the higher the heart disease risk.
On the other side, high density lipoprotein (HDL) is the “good” cholesterol. This “good” cholesterol carries blood cholesterol back to the liver, where it can be eliminated. HDL helps prohibit a cholesterol buildup in blood vessels. Low HDL levels increase heart disease risk.
Before going into cholesterol deprivation program, You should mention that cholesterol is needed for human life. It develops and repairs cell, it is needed to produce sex hormones like estrogen and testosterone, it is converted to bile acids to help you digest food and it is found in large amounts in important organ such as brain.
